"Here" is a prototype for a location-based mobile app concept. It works like any other online bulletin board system, users can create threads for others to comment on. But with Here, rather than dividing threads into categories, users are automatically assigned to a "district" sub-forum based on their current geolocation on the map. Threads posted in a district forum are only viewable by other users currently in that district, this limitation encourages the formation of "location-based communities" that share and discuss on topics that matters to their surroundings. Here aims to make good use of the geolocation data found on most smartphones today, to build a new kind of relationship between online users and their surroundings in the real world.
